Ryan Harris
Hello, my name is Ryan Harris. I am a freshman at Rutgers Camden double majoring in English and History. I am honored to have been placed with Camden County Historical Society (CCHS), where I am curating an exhibit on the history of deindustrialization in Camden and contributing to the efforts of digitizing CCHS’ archives and improving their preexisting digital archives. Throughout this process I will gain hands-on curation experience and contribute to the immortalization of knowledge.

Aarav Mody
I’m a Mellon Foundation Undergraduate Intern at Rutgers University–Camden at The Neighborhood Center, supporting the Bridges Teen Program through data and impact work. I organize and analyze program data from surveys and engagement tracking to measure participation, outcomes, and overall community reach. I also build clear, visual reports and dashboards that turn findings into insights the team can use for planning, board updates, and funder communications. My role focuses on strengthening how program results are documented, shared, and used to drive improvements.

Keara Moulton
Hi, I’m Keara Moulton, a transfer and first-generation Criminal Justice and Philosophy student at Rutgers University–Camden. This year, I’ve had the pleasure of interning at LUCY Outreach (Lifting Up Camden’s Youth), a culturally impactful and trauma-informed youth organization. Through my work with LUCY’s Afterschool and Youth Night Programs, I help create engaging spaces where Camden County youth can learn, connect, and lead. During Youth Nights, held twice a week, participants collaborate with volunteers and partners from local organizations who host workshops, lead discussions, and share interactive experiences. The youth take an active role in shaping these evenings, choosing topics that reflect their interests and strengthening connections with the broader community. My goal is to facilitate a training or workshop for volunteers, mentors, and/or tutors for recognizing and properly responding to trauma in youth by the end of my internship.

William Xavier Ramos
I am a junior at Rutgers University–Camden, majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish, with aspirations of earning a DDS degree in dentistry. I am a Mellon Foundation Intern at the Center for Aquatic Sciences at Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, where I support education, research, and community engagement initiatives.
Through this internship, I have gained experience working in a professional office setting, collaborating with staff, managing educational materials, and assisting with program coordination. I actively participate in community outreach with the Camden community, including leading and supporting hands-on learning experiences such as fishing and kayaking trips for students. I have also developed four key skills: curriculum development, scientific communication, collaborative teaching, and public engagement by designing and implementing two oral health lesson plans for high school students, training staff members to teach the material, and continuing research on oral health in aquatic animals.
