Information session: How to become a Child Life Specialist
Tuesday February 20th, 4-5pm via Zoom
Interested in learning more about the field of Child Life, and how to become a Child Life Specialist? Join us for an information session on Tuesday Feb 20th, 4-5pm, via zoom. The session will feature a presentation by Child Life Specialist Brittany Spaeth, followed by a Q&A. All are welcome but advance registration is required.
Speaker bio:
Brittany Spaeth, MS, CCLS, has been a Certified Child Life Specialist for 17 years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology-Child Life from Utica College and her master’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. Brittany has experience working in general inpatient pediatrics, PICU, ED, Trauma, NICU, and with children of adult patients. Brittany has been the Child Life Manager at Cooper for the past 12 years and is an active member of the Association of Child Life Professionals.
