John Wall Book Talk

Join the Childhood Studies GSO for a book talk with Dr. John Wall on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 11:20-12:20 PM.  Dr. Wall will talk about his new book, Give Children the Vote: On Democratizing Democracy, in which he argues that ageless suffrage would not only provide children part of the political influence they deserve but also systematically improve the well-being of democratic societies. He will also discuss the book’s underlying theoretical framework of childism, which, in analogy to feminism and other critical theories, refers to the empowerment of children’s lived experiences by transforming social norms and structures.
