Admissions

Admission to the Ph.D. Program is based on a combination of undergraduate  (and graduate, if applicable) transcripts with a minimum 3.2 GPA, GRE scores, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation.  Admissions decisions are based on a combination of the candidates’ academic qualifications and their match with areas of faculty expertise (these areas are described on the faculty page).

Applying to the Ph.D. Program in Childhood Studies involves completing an online form and submitting via mail supplementary materials to the Admissions Office at Rutgers-Camden (Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, 406 Penn Street, Camden, NJ 08102, U.S.A.).  The application process is fully explained here.
